Katie & Ronald Samaniego

Katie grew up right here at TNM Dance, starting at just 2 years old and becoming Captain of the very first competition team at TNM. From there, her love of performing and leading only grew. She went on to dance with the Berkner Bandoleras, serving as Junior Lieutenant and Captain, before becoming a world-famous Kilgore College Rangerette. While at Kilgore, Katie was chosen as a Swingster, the elite 10-member performance group. Her collegiate highlights include performing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (twice!), the Cotton Bowl Classic, and internationally at the Lord Mayor’s Millennium Ball in Dublin, Ireland. Katie has choreographed for countless high schools, drill teams, and studios, taught professionally in every style from ballet to hip hop, and danced with the Dallas Sidekicks “Sizzle” pro sports team and the Dallas Dance Company. She earned her degree in Early Childhood Development and Family Studies from UNT while building her teaching career. After directing and growing a successful studio program, Katie came home in 2009 to take over TNM Dance—where she has proudly led for 17 years, growing the studio into a thriving program for both preschool and competitive dancers.

Ronald brings a powerhouse of performance experience and creativity to TNM as our Hip Hop Company Director and Music Extraordinaire. A proud alum of Berkner High School’s Mighty Ram Drumline, he launched his dance career while still in school, choreographing for local nonprofits before hitting major stages. His credits include performances with Destiny’s Child, Demi Lovato, Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias and the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue. He has danced on the Tuaca Evolution National Tour, toured with the USO to entertain service members across the country, and performed at the Super Bowl XLV party featuring Drake as well as at the World of Dance. His commercial credits include appearances for brands such as Pepsi, Walmart, Sam’s, JCPenney, and CBS’s Emmy Award-winning show The Amazing Race. Today, Ronald is the Director and Choreographer of the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue Drumline, creating crowd-pumping performances at every home game and headlining halftime shows.

Together, Katie and Ronald combine tradition with innovation -Katie’s deep roots in competitive and studio dance, and Ronald’s electrifying hip hop and entertainment expertise. As co-owners, they are committed to inspiring dancers of all ages, building confidence, and creating unforgettable performance opportunities for every student who walks through the doors of TNM Dance.
