Eliana Shephard

Dance Instructor

Eliana Shephard was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona and began dancing at the age of 3. She has an immense amount of training in tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, ballet, musical theater, and tumbling. By the age of 7 she quickly realized dance was her passion and began competing with her dance studio’s company.

She danced competitively until she graduated high school at both regional and national conventions such as NYCDA, Velocity, 24/7, Radix, Jump, Nuvo, and LADM.

Eliana furthered her training at numerous summer intensives including The Joffrey Ballet School, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Perry Mansfield Performing Arts School. Throughout her years of training and competing Eliana received many prestigious awards and scholarships. Her most memorable accomplishments were being selected to be a member of the MVA (+) program at Velocity Dance Convention and LA Dance Magic Company.

Eliana is currently a student at Southern Methodist University where she is starting her second season with the SMU Pom Squad. They are excited to defend their title as National Champions this upcoming season.
