Kelsey stared dancing at an early age of 4, she has been dancing ever since. Now she is teaching for Talent N’ More, choreographing for High Schools in the Dallas area, and couldn’t be happier.
Kelsey started dancing at Primrose in McKinney. Then moved to Plano and was invited on a studio dance company. She danced at studios, competitively from 2nd grade to her senior year of high school. During her years of high school, she joined the McMillen Drill Team in Murphy, Texas, where she served as Captain of the Dazzlers in 10th grade. The next year she was a member of the Plano East Golden Girl’s Drill Team. She was also given a spot on Gold dust, the elite for the Golden Girls her Junior to Senior year. Her senior year, she was awarded the position of Captain for the Golden Girls Drill Team. Kelsey, was also a part of the Talent N’ More senior dance company where she got encouragement to continue her love for drill team, to try out for the Kilgore College Rangerette Drill Team, in Kilgore, Texas. She was given a spot on the 75th line with 35 other girls from all around Texas. As well as being a Rangerette, she was also a member of the Swingsters, the elite group on Rangerettes. Her freshman year they traveled to Ireland and Scotland where she performed in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Later her freshman year she decided to try out for officer and her Sophomore show offs she was awarded Left End Lt. and Class Chaplain for 75th Line, 2016. Her sophomore year they went to Disney World and performed for the Contest of Campions. After Rangerettes she was invited to work for Encore Creative Production as a Dance Staff member, teaching and assisting.
She is very thankful for all the opportunities dance and drill team has given her and is thrilled to share her love with students and young dancers. Kelsey, is now at Southern Methodist University as a Junior, majoring in Applied Physiology and Sports Management. She hopes
