Jacklyn is from Garland. She has been dancing since the age of 3, and was trained at Talent N’ More.
During her 14 years at the studio she competed on Starlettes, was 8th grade lieutenant and 1st lieutenant of Shining Stars, and was a member of Senior Stars throughout high school. She attended Naaman Forest High School where she was a member of the Sterling Stars. Throughout her 3 years as a Star she served as Lieutenant her Junior year and Captain her Senior year. She was also a member of their dance and kick companies. During high school she attended HTE summer camps where she was selected as a member of both their dance and kick academy.
After graduation Jacklyn attended Kilgore College where she had the honor of being a Rangerette for 2 years. There she received an Associate of Fine Arts in Dance. Jacklyn is now attending the University of North Texas where she is a North Texas Dancer, and pursuing her B.A in Dance. Jacklyn served as the assistant drill team director for the Richardson High School Eaglettes and was the head director of the Desporadoes, the country western team. Jacklyn was most recently hired as the new Berkner Bandolera director. She is currently a staff member for Encore Creative Productions, and does choreography for a number of high schools in the area.
